  • Kenneth Stern, MD was an esteemed family physician and pharmacist that served the community of greater Flemington, NJ for decades. He also served as a valuable member of the Rutgers PA Program faculty, delivering the pharmacology curriculum for decades. He was well respected by students and faculty. Dr. Stern was among the first physicians in NJ to hire a PA once legislation passed in 1993. He was a highly skilled diagnostician and was a leader in the evolution emphasizing patient-centered care acting as a model for those who follow.

  • Please submit One Word Document that includes the following two (2) items:

    • Personal Statement - Please submit a personal statement (maximum 500 words) describing your educational journey, academic achievements, career goals, financial circumstances, and commitment to service. Discuss any experiences that have shaped your desire to become a physician assistant, including your interest in family medicine, primary care, or underserved populations (if applicable). Applicants with a background in the humanities or arts are encouraged to describe how those experiences have influenced their development as healthcare professionals.

     

    • Scholarship Utillization - Please explain how receiving the Dr. Kenneth G. Stern Endowed Memorial Scholarship would support your education and future contributions to patient care and the profession..
